Well I call it uni but I think I learned that from ppl on the net! LOL It is going really well actually. Just finished my 2nd semester and I have a cumulative GPA of 4.0. All A's. Can't do better than that. I am going to take only one class this summer and work full time so I will have no life but I will have MONEY! YAY! :bluefish:

The difference between "college" and "university" depends on the nature of the school. More prestigious schools call themselves universities and offer masters and doctorate degrees.

At my work there is a training class which lasts a week for people to learn the basics of the craftsmanship of telephone construction work; which involves handling cables, terminals, and splices. They call it "cable college".

Nice. My school is a State University. I call it Uni rather that THE UNIVERSITY or college.

Over here at college you can only get dipolomas. At univeristy the most basic certificate is a bachelor degree, and then you can go on to do masters, PhDs etc.

I'm really glad to hear you are doing so well! I've gone back to uni too, nearly finished a semester! Man time just flies.

I'm wondering how much a semester of university is in America? And what your text books cost? Do you get government loans for university in America?
