I remember one time you had this problem (see attachment) with extra data getting appended at the end of a url request. How did you fix it and where is this thread?

Notice the &___ord___ sometimes thats followed by a series of numbers too.

The link you posted in your screenshot is this, and it works for me showing me the thread of postid 11:

I don't recall any problems but there was the NeverEverNoSanity worm which was exploring a lot of links in the forum archives. This is the thread of that here (http://www.3-3-3.org/forum/showthread.php?t=821). Also there have been times on the board when I enter certain strings of text and it causes problems with posting or previewing PMs, as you can read about in this thread (http://www.3-3-3.org/forum/showthread.php?t=339).

I appreciate the answer. I swear to God I remember you posting something about this...only it wasn't the main focus of the thread. I've also noticed a ....whoops I think I know what happened....shit load of deletions recently and I'm not speaking of my missing posts but I do wonder if that is one possibility of what happened to post that could have sworn contained this information.

You know as a laymen or rather when I wasn't an administrator I didn't really pay that much attention to your posts regarding technical details of the vbulletin software...but running several sites presently I find the wealth of information staggerring and I sit in awe and admiration as I read your chronicles now. but really I think some of your technical documentation is missing (not just regarding this specific problem but other things as it relates to maintaining vb software and the portal software too)

Honestly have you deliberately deleted anything regarding information on how vb works?

I hope you haven't as I now consider this a very valuable resource for other webmasters just starting out or new administrators using the vb software.

This is my plea that you please leave this information so that it may be shared by all for the greater good.

p.s. I ain't crazy. I did do a search for the phrase 'ordinal' and came up empty handed. I'll keep digging around and maybe I'll find it but its doubtful...like looking for a needle in a haystack with so many posts that this matter-of-factly info could have been posted into kind of an aside.

Thanks for the great job of documenting your experiences.

I've never used the word "ordinal" here before and when I did a search on the internet for that word I didn't come up with information relating to bulletin boards. As far as deleting information from here, there is no reason to unless it was done by accident. When I deleted the latest round of your posts two months ago, that you had edited with "move along nothing to see here folks", I tried to remove just posts and not threads. But later I did catch at least one mistake I made when I was looking for the thread "I'm here... I'm queer... hear me roar" but couldn't find it anywhere, so that entire thread must be gone. That's the only one that I know of which I made a mistake on and deleted the whole thread of.

I apologise for the accusation its just that I get anxious sometimes. Here's an example once I was doing something nice for a friend and suddenly anxiety gripped me causing me to fear that I would be in a wreck or something before the good deed could be accomplished.

Similiarly I've found something else to enjoy reading here now and am likewise worried that something will happen to it.

That was a low blow mentioning my past maybe you were just defending yourself...I kind of felt my words could be taken as an attack. I didn't like mentioning your past deeds either..but I guess these things are simply facts and should be if not have to be taken into account for when we both interact here with one another.

I believe what you've said.

To make myself clear you have threatened me to that effect...don't know if you recall having done so or not...anyone remember the disabling of certain features here for me in the not so recent past?

Once subjected to these type of things or behaviours one has a tendency to be a little wary of those events repeating themselves here again like the old saying, "once bitten, twice shy."
